Main entry in the Nursery / Kindergarten Entry to the Nursery is usually in the academic year in which the child is three years old, where the children can attend part time if the parents wish. Progress through the Junior Department and beyond then depends on the individual child's development. ![]() Other admissions Our target class size is 20 to ensure that each child gets individual attention. As a result some classes may be full. If so, we organise a waiting list for places. While there is no formal entry test (we do not choose children on ability), we do ask that prospective pupils spend a day or half day with the children they are hoping to join. Visits There is an open day held each term, where prospective parents may visit the school and talk to the Headmaster, the Senior Teacher of the Junior Department; the Teachers and Governors about the school. You will gain the best picture of school life by visiting us on a school day, please contact us to arrange this. Entry To enter your child for Collingwood, you must return the Application Form for Entrance and the Entry Fee. Admissions Policy Our Admissions policy for the main school is available for download here. and the policy for Nursery admissions is available for download Nursery Admissions Policy. |
